PREPARING FOR YOUR 3D FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCAN

OVERVIEW

GlobalScout uses MoovmentScan to assess functional movement through 6 simple movement patterns. The assessment is ideal for functional movement, injury prevention, rehabilitation and overall wellness. 

3D functional movement scanning is non-intrusive and is completed under GPTQA controlled conditions with an accredited professional. The assessment takes approximately 6-7 minutes to complete, and the movement patterns are recorded with the very latest 3D camera, allowing reliable and accurate assessment of functional movement for prehab, rehab and general physical management.

This assessment will provide you with both a 3D visualisation of your current movement, along with a PDF report outlining the results.

PREPARATION

For best results, consistency in preparation is key.

Use the following guidance to ensure that you prepare yourself properly this time, and for all future scans:

  • Exercise
    • Avoid strenuous exercise within the 3 hours pre-scan
  • Clothing
    • Wear comfortable clothing and avoid heavy items such as tracksuit pants and jeans
    • Avoid wearing baggy clothing as the camera must be able to detect shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles.
    • T-shirt and shorts/leggings would be best
